Emergency First Aid (WSBC BASIC

Our Basic First Aid course is a comprehensive one-day program designed to teach essential lifesaving skills for the workplace or home. Participants learn how to recognize and respond to common emergencies, including CPR, choking, bleeding control, wound care, and shock management.
With hands-on practice and real-life scenarios, students build the confidence and practical ability to act quickly in emergency situations. This course is ideal for employers seeking workplace compliance. It is suitable for a wide range of industries and community members who want practical, up-to-date safety training.
The program is recognized as equivalent to WorkSafeBC’s Basic First Aid requirements, meeting provincial standards for workplace safety certification.
Standard First Aid (WSBC INTERMEDIATE

Our Standard First Aid course is a comprehensive two-day training program designed for individuals who require certification for workplace compliance or who want a deeper understanding of emergency response. This course provides thorough instruction in first aid procedures and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), combining theory with hands-on practice.
Participants learn how to assess emergency scenes, respond to injuries and medical conditions, and provide effective care until professional help arrives. Realistic scenarios help build confidence and practical skills.
This program is recognized as equivalent to WorkSafeBC’s Intermediate First Aid requirements, meeting provincial workplace safety standards in British Columbia for employer certification compliance.
Registration Policy – First Aid Training in BC
For our Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid certification courses in British Columbia, group registration requires a minimum of 6 participants and allows a maximum of 36 participants per class to ensure quality instruction and hands-on training.
For groups larger than the 6-person minimum, roster changes may be made up to 3 days prior to the course start date without cancellation fees. Reductions made within 3 days of the scheduled first aid training — including illness or no-shows — will be charged the full course fee unless a doctor’s note is provided.
If total enrollment falls below the required minimum of 6 participants, the full course fee for 6 students will apply. We will make every effort to reschedule your workplace first aid training at a mutually convenient time.
Participants arriving more than 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and will not be permitted to attend, in accordance with certification standards.
For Standard First Aid group bookings, a $20.50 deposit per student is required to secure your classroom date or access to blended (online + in-class) first aid courses. Deposits are non-refundable for blended programs and for any course cancelled less than 7 days before the scheduled training date.
