Emergency First Aid (WSBC BASIC first aid)
Our Emergency First Aid course is a comprehensive one-day program designed to teach essential lifesaving first aid and CPR skills for both the workplace and home. This training equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
Course Content
This program includes the following key topics:

Introduction to the Canadian Red Cross

Preparing to respond safely

Understanding the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system

The Check, Call, Care approach

First Aid Attendant roles and responsibilities

Airway emergencies
-
Breathing and circulation emergencies

CPR/AED for respiratory and cardiac arrest (Level C)

Wound care and bleeding control
Duration
This is an 8-hour in-class course delivered in one day by a certified Canadian Red Cross Instructor.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a 3-year Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
Digital certificates are issued upon completion.
